Ella Kate had her first soccer game last weekend and it was a big success. There was some concern on Ella Kate's part that soccer clothes were to "boyly" but after we found pink socks and shin guards and got in a little practice in the backyard she loves being "Soccer Girl".

Mary Cobb was Ella Kate's biggest cheerleader. After the game Ella Kate said, "Mom did you hear Mary Cobb cheering for me? That was cool" :) I was cheering too - evidently Mary Cobb is just a little cooler than old Mom. :)
