Spring Break 2012

Last Wednesday night after work Dave and I loaded up the kids and headed to PCB for a Spring Break getaway.  We had so much fun and seriously did not want to come home.  It was a nice calm trip with our little family of four.

Dave really is a good Daddy.  He dug a hole in the sand and made a slide for Ella Kate and John.  They loved it.  They would slide down play a little while then climb out and do it all over again.  Good job Dave!!

John was very curious about the ocean.  He wanted to get close but not too close.

John's favorite thing to do at the beach was hanging out on the pier.  Funny, that is Dave's favorite thing too.

This is how the little princess likes to jump waves.  I think she would have jumped waves on Dave's shoulder all day long if we would have let her.

American Girl and Peter Pan Ballet

A couple of weekends ago Nana came in town and we had a "Girls Weekend" that included a trip to American Girl and to see a ballet performance of Peter Pan put on by Ella Kate's ballet studio (Georgia Dance Conservatory).  It was so fun to spend some quality time with two of my favorite girls!

Lunch at the American Girl Bistro.  The food was delicious and Ella Kate loved it that the waitress brought her Bitty Baby a high chair and play food. 

Love this girly girl.  Well Ella Kate made out like a bandit at her trip to American Girl.  We left with a new crib, bedding, and monitors for Bitty Baby and Nana insisted that Ella Kate was old enough for her 1st real American Girl doll :)  And you can't get a new AG doll without a new outfit.

 John truly adores his big Sis.  Love these two kids so very much.

 Next stop on the Girls Weekend agenda was a trip to see a Peter Pan ballet.  Ella Kate and Nana all dressed up and ready for the ballet.
