Ella Kate - Burruss Student of the Month

Ella Kate was Star Student of the Month at her school for November and we could not be more proud!  We adore this little girl!  

 The letter we got letting us know that she would be the Star Student of the Month!  We got ice cream to celebrate!

Trip to the GA Aquarium and Book Character Day at School

This year Nana gave us a family pass to the GA Aquarium as one of John's birthday presents.  The kids have been begging recently to go to the aquarium so I was pretty excited about this gift :)  Dave went out of town one weekend in November on a hunting, fishing, and hiking trip with some high school and college friends so I took the kids to the aquarium to get their new passes.  We got to the aquarium when it opened at 9am and pretty much had the place to ourselves.  It was great - we left after the dolphin show when it started getting crowded and had a great time.  On the way home I was going to take the kids in Chick-fil-A for lunch and they both asked to eat in the car b/c they were so tired :)  I would say it was a successful aquarium trip.

Burruss Book Character Day.  Ella Kate chose Pinkalicious and the Fairy Garden for her book.  We had the perfect Pinkalicious costume thanks to the beautiful fairy dress LeLe made Ella Kate for her 5th Birthday Party!
