 LeLe really outdid herself this year!  I am still in amazement that she handmade both of these costumes.  Thank you so much LeLe!!

 I loved watching John's face as he looked around and saw that everyone was dressed up.  To our amazement he did not try to take his costume off - not even the beast head.  I guess he figured if everyone else was dressed up silly it was ok :)

 John thought this little ballerina was pretty cute.

 John's favorite part of the Parade and Costume contest was the Turkey.  He followed up around everywhere!!  I am pretty sure that John is in most pictures other kids had with the turkey.  John loved loved loved him and called him a "Chick Chick:".

John won the Baby Boy Costume Contest on the Square!!! 

Ella Kate's First Field Trip

A few weeks ago I got to chaperone Ella Kate's first field trip :)  Her sweet little class went on a walking field trip from their preschool to visit the Marietta Fire Station.  It was such a fun morning.

 The firefighter was such a good sport and I loved how the 4 year olds were not one bit shy about asking him all kinds of questions.

 Me and my sweet girl! Loved being able to go on what I am sure is my first of many field trips.


 So cool to watch the firefighter surprise the kids by ringing the bell and coming down the later.

 The kids timed him to make sure he could get in full gear in less than 2 mins.  He did it in a little over a minute :)

 Still hugging.  I have learned that this is how four year old girls greet each other.  They see each other, squeel with excitement, run towards each other, and hug so hard they almost fall down :)  I love it.
