Ella Kate's 4th Birthday (Then and Now)

I can't believe our baby girl turned 4 last Friday!  I had to post a few pics from 4 years ago when Dave and I welcomed our sweet beautiful little girl into the world!  Sweet memories that we will never forget!

Walking into the hospital the afternoon before Ella Kate was born.  I really was in labor at this point but sadly Dr. Steinichen told me I was way to happy to be in "real" labor.  He told me to return when I was ready to slap him and Dave.  Well, that occured a little later on that evening and we returned to the hospital around midnight and sweet Ella Kate was born at 11:42am the following afternoon.  After I got the epidural she was an easy delivery :)

 The nurses thought this was hilarious!  I felt great after delivery and as soon as we got to our room I could not wait to change clothes and get out of the hospital gown.  Dave on the other hand whom had slept on a rather hard bench the night before liked the idea of trading beds with me :)

Four years truly flew by and Ella Kate has just grown sweeter and more beautiful inside and out over the years.  Now on to the 4th birthday festivities!

 We got her a pink frosted donut from Krispy Kreme and surprised her by walking into her room singing Happy Birthday to wake her up on her birthday morning!!

 It is a lot of work being a birthday princess.

 She loved getting a mani/pedi. 

 To continue the birthday festivities Dave and I took her on a dinner and movie date night while Nana watched baby John.  She chose Mexican for dinner :)
