A couple of weekends ago Dave competed in the Fort Yargo Adventure Race and we had our first overnight family camping adventure :) The race was a 6 hour race so Papa, LeLe, the kids and I drove to Fort Yargo on Saturday morning to see Dave cross the finish line.

Dave and his partner Jonathan right after crossing the finish line! They did awesome! They got all their points and finished first in their division (Two Man Team) and 3rd Overall! So proud of them.

John met a friend after the race. They were hilarious.
Now that the race was over it was time to start our first family camping adventure. Dave found us the perfect campsite right on the lake next to the dock. Ella Kate was so excited! As soon as we got to the camp site she wanted to put her pj's on. I love it that she totally embraced camping out,

Papa, LeLe, Uncle Jason, Aunt Laura, and Baby Kaleb came up to cook out with us at the campsite. We had a great feast including smores. So fun!!
This little guy slept like a rock in the tent. A true miracle. This was the face we all woke up to around 8am. Sweep baby boy!

First family camp out was a big success! Dave now wants to get a bigger tent so that we can have more family camp outs in our future.
A few pics from John's 18 month appt. We were a little late on his 18 month appt since he was around 19 months when we went :) John's height was 34 1/2 inches (88%) and 24 12oz (28%). The nurse and I are not 100% sure that the weight is accurate since John pitched a fit sitting on the scale but it appears we have a tall and skinny little boy :)
