Granddaughter, Mother, and Daughter Tea

This weekend Nana came in town to watch the kiddos while Dave and I went out of town to a wedding.  Ohh and it was a beautiful wedding!  The setting was on a farm and we had so much fun dancing the night away with friends.  However we did have a couple of small snags like....  Dave forgot to put our suitcase in the car - thank goodness we remembered our hanging clothes and shoes so we were only out pj's, toothbrushes, etc. all solved by a quick trip to Walmart.
On Sunday afternoon Nana and LeLe took Ella Kate to the Cobb Landmarks Granddaughter, Mother, Daughter tea. Dave and I were not sure if we would be back from the wedding in time for me to go so Ella Kate was lucky to be escorted by her two favorite grandmothers :)  I hope she realizes how lucky she is to have to wonderful grandmothers that adore her so.

Ella Kate said, "Oh mommy this dress is just lovely."
LeLe made Ella Kate this dress.  It is one of my favorites.
The little gloves she wore were mine when I was little.
Ella Kate really liked the hat.

A lucky little girl with her LeLe and Nana.

Ella Kate and Livie being silly.  Such sweet friends and neighbors.
These little girls are all so precious.

School Fall Festival, Date Night with Daddy, Baby John is almost 1

Oh What fun we have had today and the last few weeks.  Livie came over to play this morning and the girls had a blast.  They played dress up, had tea parties, played barbies, but I think the most fun we all had was dancing to Alvin and the Chipmunk's "Shake your Groove Thing."  They danced their little hearts away and baby John was loving every minute of it too.  Ohh and the other highlight of the morning was when we were watching The Little Mermaid and Livie told me that "She hoped Ursula would stop being so mean and let Jesus in her heart."  HaHa.  I love their innocense.  These days our house is full of "Princess Power" and trucks.

Below are a few pics of what we have been doing the last couple of weeks.

Sweet friends.
These girls are the queens of dress up and tea parties.
Last week was also Ella Kate's Fall Party in her three year old class.  I just love her little classmates and her teacher, Mrs. Garrett is so special.  Dave makes fun of me because I think being the room mother is so much fun.  I am looking forward to many more school parties this year.

Ella Kate seemed to really enjoy her orange pumpkin fruit cup.
I was thrilled all of the kids seemed to enjoy their little pumpkins.
Waiting in line to feel the inside of a pumpkin.  The dads did an awesome job.
Mimi loved it!

Last Friday night was the Fall Festival for the Ella Kate and John's preschool, Marietta First Baptist Church.  We were lucky to have Nana in town so we made it a family affair.  The kids enjoyed having Nana, Papa, and LeLe at the festival.
John loved the toddler jumpy.

I love watching these two play together.

I can't believe my baby girl is 3.5 years old.  Love her so much.
Last Thursday night Ella Kate and Daddy had a date night which included dinner and Disney Princesses on Ice.  They both had so much fun.  I think Dave and Ella Kate both realized what a special experience it was.

She was so excited to see the show.
Yep, Dave is a sucker and bought her an Aerial doll at the show.
Baby John is really not so much a baby anymore but he will always be my baby boy.  He will be 1 in 2 weeks and I am not ready for it.  He is the sweetest, cuddliest little thing and into everything.  I turned my head for 2 seconds the other day and this is what I found :)
