Ella Kate Lost 2 Teeth + Kindergarten Class Picture Day

March 13th was a big day in the Elliott house.  Our baby girl lost her first tooth at school.
Here is the story of the first tooth....  I picked Ella Kate up from school like normal and we stood around and talked to friends for a few minutes before jumping in the car to head home.  As she was climbing in the car I noticed a white envelope sticking out of the side of her backpack.  I pulled it out and the front read "Ella Kate's Tooth".  I screamed, hugged her, almost cried, etc.  Immediately I said "Ella Kate why did you not tell me?"  her reponse "Because I knew you would act like that.".  :)  Looks like I am already starting to embarrass her :)  She then told me that her tooth fell out during PE while they were doing centers.  She also mentioned that her tooth dropped into a different center area than she was in so she almost lost it b/c my girl is a rule follower and would never leave her center even to go pick up her first tooth.  Ohhh Ella Kate how we love you!  She let Dave pull her second bottom tooth out the following week.  She is fascinated with loosing her teeth and getting new ones partly because she consistently says she wants to be a Dentist like her Papa :)

Kindergarten Class Picture Day!  Thank you LeLe for making this beautiful dress.  We love it!

Hiking in the North GA Mountains

Dave has passed on his loving of hiking in the North GA Mountains to me and the kids :)  Here are some of our recent adventures....

Trip to Blue Ridge with the Clarks and Statons.  Thankful for Ruth and Casey's hospitality.  We had a great time spending the weekend at their cabin.

 Breakfast Time.
I just love how sweet these two are.
Uh Oh.  We left Uncle Casey in charge a little too long :)
Harris leading the way on our hike.
 Here comes Miss Priss.
 Our fearless leaders.
 How cute are they!
Not exactly the pose I was requesting but I will take what I can get.
 The Staton Clan.
 The Clark Clan.
 The boys and their babies.
Well we tried to get a good picture.

 TROUBLE
Uncle Kenneth being a really good sport.

Dave has his very own dirt! :)
Anyone that knows Dave knows he LOVES the Cohutta Wilderness.  He loves everything about it. Well recently we purchased some land in his beloved Cohutta Wilderness.  It is at the top of a mountain surrounded by national forest property and the drive way is 1.5 miles straight up  - only Dave :)  This is a picture I took of him when he finally got his key to the drive way :)  He was so happy.
Dave and John checking out the property.
 Junior
He is an absolute mess and we adore him.
 He loves to collect rocks.
Peace out Mom.  No more photos please.

A favorite spot where Dave and John will be spending alot of their time.
This little boy loves his Daddy.
