Fun Weekends in January

We started the New Years Off with a trip to PCB!
John riding his new hot wheels LeLe got him down to the beach.
I did a terrible job taking pics on this trip but I did manage to take a ton of us playing put put - so here goes.
Ella Kate working on her form.
John might need a little help on his technique.
Pretty sure that poor form was driving Papa crazy :)
He did know where to put the ball.
 Love this sweet face.
Dave helping him learn how to swing.  I find it hilarious that both Senior and Junior are wearing crocs with white socks.  I am pretty sure that is a fashion NoNo. :)
 Sweetest little girl ever.
Put Put is always fun - especially at the beach.
Love that background.  Good ole PCB.
 John and LeLe being silly.

John thought it was funny that the alligator was going to eat him.
The boy really liked this alligator.
 Sweet girl.
Not wanting to leave after we finished 18 holes.
A trip to PCB would not be complete without fishing and a picnic lunch on Shell Island.  We hit several honey holes and caught some fish.
 LeLe and John boating....
One of Papa's fish.  The fish was quite squirmy - hence John and Ella Kate's facial expression.
Last weekend we drove to Cisco, Ga which if you blink while driving through it you will miss it.  However it is home to the Cuhutta Wilderness and one of Dave's favorite hiking spots.  We had a family fun day of hiking.
Ella Kate and I resting after our 4 mile hike to the waterfalls.  We were ready for lunch.
The waterfalls were quite nice and we spent a couple of hours eating lunch and skipping rocks.  The weather was perfect.  About 70 degrees.
It had rained tons the night before and the entire drive up to Cisco.  We got super lucky that it stopped raining and the sun came out right as we got there and were ready to hike.
What would a family fun day be without Sally and JoJo.

 Our first babies.
Ella Kate was out when we finished the hike.  It is a tough life for the kids having to ride in the backpacks with pillows, drinks, and snacks at their beck and call.  My back is still recovering...
Family picture attempt using a tripod and self timer :)
