9 Month Dr. Appt and Tooth #5

On Monday Ella Kate had her 9 month check-up. We did not have to get any shots at this appt thank goodness!!! She weighed in at 17.9 lbs and 28.75 inches tall. This puts her in the 35th percentile for weight and the 93rd percentile for height. When we first got to the doctors office Ella Kate was all smiles as we were playing with the toys we brought and waiting on the nurse. But the second the nurse reached for her she let out a terrible scream which basically continued until we left. She is not a big fan of the nurse and Dr. Clements. Dave and I just love Dr. Clements and the nurses so hopefully in time Ella Kate will at least tone down the screaming a little. :)
The other big milestone is that Dave noticed yesterday that Ella Kate now has tooth #5. It is on the top to the right of her two front teeth. Ella Kate definitely makes use of her little teeth as she much prefers big people food over the Gerber jars. She has surprised me an eaten an entire scrambled egg the past two mornings.
This afternoon we are headed over to a play date at Brittany Lowery's house with a big group of Marietta girls and their little ones. It should be alot of fun!!

We have been practicing hunting Easter Eggs. We have a couple of Easter Egg hunts that we have been invited to this year so we are going to be ready :)

It is hard to take pics of Ella Kate b/c as soon as she sees that I have a camera in my hand she drops whatever she is doing and comes straight for it.
