This afternoon after church we headed to the playground on the Square, lunch at Jason's NYC deli, and then a long long hike up Kennesaw Mountain with both kids. Ella Kate and John were both great sports on the mountain and we hiked about 6 miles. We started at Burnt Hickory, hiked up little Kennesaw, then up Big Kennesaw, then down to the Visitors center, and last back to Burnt Hickory. We stopped for pictures and let Ella Kate have a snack at the top of Big Kennesaw and then we stopped again at the visitors center to give John a bottle and let Ella Kate run wild in the field. Such a fun family day with just the 4 of us. Best Valentine's day present to be with my favorite people outside on a beautiful day.

Sweet Boy. He is so strong!

Kennesaw Mountain. This girl loves to hike. Dave and I have been talking about going to Glacier National Park on vacation this summer and we are seriously considering taking her with us. She loves riding in the backpack and going on hiking trips. When we stopped to give John a bottle at the
visitors center she told me to hurry up because she wanted to do more camping.
HaHa She is her Daddy's little girl and loves the outdoors. Dave and Steven are planning an overnight camping trip with Ella Kate and Harry and if that goes well we may just take her with us to Glacier. She is at such a fun age and is our little buddy. I can't wait for Baby Boy to get a little bigger so that the four of us can all go on vacations together. We are so thankful for Ella Kate and John and Dave and I can't wait travel more and more with them as they get a little older.
