June 2014 PCB Trip Part 1

June 2014 PCB Beach Trip.  We went to the beach for nine days in June and it was so nice.  We all got used to beach livin and loved every minute of it.  We took Papa's boat to the beach for this trip and took it out almost every day.  We love boating at the beach.  The kids really enjoy spotting animals.

 Dave is quite the dolphin whisperer.

 We almost always see a couple of dolphins each day at PCB.

 John loves driving the boat.

 The Grundmeyers were in town for one day of our trip so we had fun playing in the pool together and Dave took them out for an evening dolphin watching tour.

 I love how happy he is in the ocean.

 Dave has quite the eye for spotting animals.  I don't have great pictures partly because I was in awe but we saw 2 manatees while we were fishing.

 We followed them for a while.

 A definite highlight of our trip to see 2 manatees in the wild.

 More dolphins.

 The dolphins came right up to the boat and put on quite a show.

 One of our favorite things to do on the boat is to take it to Shell Island - play for a while - and then drive the boat to a fun lunch spot on the water.  We found tons and tons of hermit crabs at Shell Island this trip and Ella Kate and John loved collecting them.

 We are back at it.  On the boat fishing.  John was getting much more serious about his fishing this trip.  He asked a million questions.

 So fun that the Clarks and Statons came down to join us for part of our trip.
