The kids and I headed south with friends for the 4th of July this year. It was so much fun to get away for the long weekend with good friends although we did miss celebrating the holiday with Dave.
Joseph was so sweet to John the entire trip. He is a great "big brother" to John. John thinks Joseph can do no wrong.
These sweet girls are the best of friends. Love them.
Ready for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants Uncle Ernie's.
Beautiful sunset after dinner.
I love my babies.
Walking into Miracle Strip.
They were so excited.
The big girls are starting to love the thrill rides and it was so much fun to ride the old Abominable Snowman with them.
A stop at FunLand for ice cream after a night at Miracle Strip. A perfect ending to a great night :)
Beautiful little girl.
All Smiles.
Joseph got pretty good at the boogie board this trip and John tried his best to keep up with him.
John met a really cute little girl and they hunted for baby sand crabs.
One of the sand crabs John found.
She is my heart.
We dug lots of holes.
John loved to bury Joseph in the sand.
Miss Priss ready for a fun 4th of July night.
Still playing with the boogie board.
Happy 4th of July.
Pretty impressed that Rebecca took this picture for us :)
They took full advantage on the grassy area at the beach condo. Lots of tumbling, baseball, and football games.
They are so sweet together.
Ella Kate and Rebecca met a "big girl" at the pool who adopted them and carried them all over :)
One of the sweet guests that comes every 4th of July always puts on a big ice cream social in the clubhouse before the fireworks on the 4th of July. It was a fun sweet time as always. The kids talked us into a quick swim after dinner and before fireworks.
Ready to watch the fireworks. The fireworks this year were amazing. Best I have ever seen.
John almost fell asleep during the fireworks.
He loves the sand. I had to strip him down and basically give him a bath in the outdoor showers :)
Joseph dug him a hole - he was so happy.
Sparklers.
John loved the fireworks.
Back for another day at the beach.
So sweet.
He looks so tan.
Ohhh how I love them.
He is the cutest thing.
Happy boy at the beach.
