Let's see where to start. Ella Kate is all over the place these days. She turned 8 months this past Sunday (2/22) and has mastered pulling up to a standing position, crawling up stairs, and she can even take a couple of steps with her stroller walker. She laughs all the time and has also started being a little shy around strangers. When a stranger walks up to her and tells her how cute she is she gives them a little smile and then burries her head in my shouder. I think it is just precious.
This past weekend we went to B'ham as I had two wedding showers on Sunday afternoon. We got to B'ham around lunch time on Friday and went by Nana's office to pick her up for lunch. All of the ladies that work with my Mom are super sweet so it was fun to visit for a few mins. I hope we didn't interrupt their work day to much. After we picked up Nana we went to the Hoover Library where Tina works and had lunch at the new Library coffee shop. Lunch was great and Ella Kate had fun discovering the library.
Saturday afternoon we met Uncle Don, Denice, Alex, Jewel, Wanda, and Lilly Grace for lunch at Surin in Mountain Brook. Ella Kate made her presence known at lunch as she sent a full glass of water flying off the table. Oh well worse things could have happened. We had a nice lunch then Wanda, Lilly Grace, Nana, Ella Kate, and I went to the B'ham zoo. The zoo was tons of fun and we were all exhausted afterwards.
It was a fun weekend!!
