Friday (9/4/09) was a big day for the Elliott family. It was LeLe's 60th Birthday and Mine and Dave's 5th Wedding Anniversary! We had a small dinner party at our house for LeLe's b'day with family and friends. Nancy Dorsey aka GiGi brought over her 3 month old granddaughter Lauren and Ella Kate just adored her:) She was very concerned about Lauren when she cried and just wanted to pet and kiss her. It was so fun to see her get so excited about a real live baby doll. The b'day party was a big success with Laura's awesome Italian salad and Dave's delicious shrimp and scallop pasta dish. Even I cooked and made a homemade Chocolate Pound Cake with homemade Chocolate Icing for LeLe's birthday cake. I must say that it was quite good!!!
