Ella Kate and I on Christmas Eve
What a surprise!!! Santa came to visit us on Christmas Eve to remind us to go to bed early b/c he would be back very soon :) Gotta love dear old Santa.
John..... well let's just say he is not so fond of Santa.

Nana and her grandbabies. So Thankful Nana got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us in Marietta.

This is my favorite and is John's true personality. He is just a big ole smiley ball of energy.
I know two kids that must have been pretty good b/c Santa came. Ella Kate's primary requests were a purple dress for her and her baby, a Chuggington train set, and an Aurora and Belle doll. Ella Kate requested some balls for John. :)

We have officially entered the world of American Girl. Between Nana and Santa Claus - Ella Kate got a bitty baby and a couple of American girl doll and matching big girl outfits.
John got lots of cars and a set of balls. Several of the cars were remote controlled and baby John is still trying to figure those out.
Stockings have always been one of my favorite parts. Good things often come in little packages.

I love this pic. It was totally unprompted. I caught Ella Kate putting some of her new purple lip gloss on her favorite Cars 2 character, Miss Holley Shiftwell. Aunt Tina brought her a "baby" Holley Shiftwell and Santa brought her a "Momma" Holley Shiftwell. Santa also brought John a "Daddy" Lightening McQueen. Ella Kate loves to play daddy, momma, and baby with the stuffed Cars2 dolls.

After we took in Christmas morning at our house we headed to Papa and LeLe's to celebrate a little more.

Ella Kate and John must have been really good this year b/c Santa left them a few presents at Papa and LeLe's too. The purple Sophie Grace skirt and matching shirt along with the purple elephant back pack were a huge hit.

Santa left some Woody and Jessie dress up outfits too. An attempt to photograph the cowboys and cowgirl. Attempt being the key word.
Back home again enjoying the train. John loves this train set and walks around all day saying "car" "car." Dave informed me that our train table was not big enough for our train set :)

It amazes me his instant obession with Cars. He is all boy.
