Disney World Day 2 - Magic Kingdom

Our first full day we headed to the Magic Kingdom!  We got up bright and early and ready for Disney!

Thanks to our sweet friend Lara for letting us borrow her stroller.  It was perfect!  Lightweight, super compact and comfortable!  The kids loved being together in the double stroller.
Our hotel was on a lake right across from the Magic Kingdom.  So we walked down to the dock from our hotel and took the 5 minute ferry ride to the Magic Kingdom.  All of us enjoyed the ferry ride.
This boy is ready to meet Mickey Mouse and Pluto.

Looking out the window on the ferry ride getting his first glimpse of Disney World.
In line for his first ride.
The Toy Story ride was a hit.  Dave took it seriously had got about a gazillion points during the ride. :)

John also took it seriously and was way to busy shooting to smile for a picture.
John thought it was pretty cool to get his picture taken behind bars with Zurge.  Dave told him that better be the only time he finds him behind bars :)  HaHa
Ella Kate was in awe of Cinderella's castle.  We surprised her the next morning with Breakfast with the Princesses at the Castle.  :)
Way to excited about riding more rides to smile for this picture :)

Enchanted Tales with Belle.  This was one of our favorites.
Ella Kate's face walking into Belle's castle and meeting her was priceless.
They were all eyes and ears for Belle retelling the story of Beauty and the Beast.

 So magical.
Meeting Pluto.  He was the first character we met.
Dave and Ella Kate's face as they saw their first Disney parade.  I think they were both pretty impressed.
 My boys.
How these two waited in all the lines.  :)
Love them so much and so thankful that we got to take them to Disney!  Looking forward to the four of us taking many more trips.
Ready to ride.  Anytime they could ride just the two of them together they loved it.  They thought they were so big.
 It's a small world.
Cinderella's Step Sisters were out fighting with each other in the streets.
They spotted us and came over to start harassing John. :)
One of them got a little to close to John and.....
Yep, he clocked her.  It was the funniest thing I have ever seen.  John does not mess around.  What was so great about it was he did not cry, scream, he just let her have it when she got to close :)  We all laughed including the step sisters.
John's favorite ride - Dumbo.

At Disney world there is always something to look out around every bend.
Yay for Daisy!
John said he only liked the "boy" characters. :)
Ella Kate was in heaven when Minnie twirled her around.
A favorite moment for Ella Kate.

I wanted my picture taken with Minnie too :)
We used Disney's "Child Swap"/"Single Rider" so that Dave and I could ride the bigger thrill rides.  These were a few pics that I took of John running around making friends while Dave was riding Space Mountain.  Ella Kate and I went on Space Mountain first with plans for her to ride again (back to back) with Dave.  But... she decided twice in a row was a little much :)
A little boy mentioned sword fight and him and John were instant friends.

The poor Dad they were having the sword fight with.  I think the kids won :)
