Tybee Island. Last Friday morning we loaded the car and headed to Tybee Island. Our first stop was lunch at the Crab Shack.
The kids were thrilled to see baby alligators at the restaurant.
Even Charlotte was excited about our lunch.
I know we should not let the kids play with their food but we made an exception with the crawfish.
Crawfish fun.
Feeding the baby alligators.
John and Ella Kate loved feeding the alligators.
After lunch we checked into our hotel and headed straight for the beach. Thanks to the hard sand beaches Ella Kate and John got to ride their bicycles on the beach and Charlotte and I ran along beside them in the jogging stroller.
We found a hill in the sand and the kids loved rolling down it. Sand everywhere.
Love this picture of how we ended our first day in Tybee. Dave went to the grocery store to get us a few things including ice cream. :) Charlotte was a dream on the trip and went to sleep in her little pack and play while we all stayed up late eating ice cream in bed and watching our favorite family show - American Ninja Warriors :)
Beach Day on Tybee!
This little angel is a pleasure.
Her smile makes my day.
He adores her.
Proud of his baby sis.
A local recommended Coco's for dinner and it was excellent! The restaurant was right on the water and we enjoyed a great view.
The girls.
Exploring the pier after dinner.
A fishing boat was unloading and we enjoyed checking out their catch.
Family photo and everyone is looking and smiling. A true miracle.
This may be one of my favorite pictures ever.
I love her.
Enjoying the sunset.
Family pic in front of the sunset. You just have to trust me that their was a beautiful sunset behind us. :)
